They’re Not Like Us #1 Sold Out, Second Printing Due in February

There are wide variations in what we call human; some are stronger, smarter, or have other, subtler advantages. But what if you were a young woman that could not silence the thoughts of thousands, what would you do? We all make choices on how to use our skill sets, but what of her generation? What if They’re Not Like Us?

“Working with Simon [Gane] on this, along with my Nowhere Men co-conspirators Jordie Bellaire and Fonografiks, has been amazing, but even so, I was completely unprepared for the incredibly warm response They’re Not Like Us has received,” said Eric Stephenson. “We’re all looking forward to doing this for a good long while, so we’re really grateful to have such strong support right from the start.”

This is one of those times when readers and critics agree; They’re Not Like Us is not just following in the X-Men’s footsteps. Not only has the first issue sold out, and a second printing ordered, but They’re Not Like Us #1 was greeted with praise from the comic news sites. CBR says “They’re Not Like Us #1 is definitely not like any other teenage mutant comic…” and Multiversity Comics called it “a beautifully constructed introduction to a complex examination of youth in revolt.”
