Valiant and the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund have revealed a limited Faith #1 SDCC “Liberty Variant” by Ronald Wimberly.  Wimberly joins a tremendous talent line-up on the first issue of Faith, including Jody Houser,  Pere Perez, Marguerite Sauvage, and Colleen Doran

As revealed today at The A.V. Club, Valiant is proud to support the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (CBLDF) with the FAITH #1 SDCC Liberty Variant – a limited edition release of the FIRST ISSUE of Faith “Zephyr” Herbert’s history-making ongoing series! Featuring a brand-new cover by Glyph Comics Award-winning artist Ronald Wimberly (Prince of Cats, She-Hulk), the FAITH #1 SDCC Liberty Variantwill debut on Wednesday, July 20th exclusively at Comic-Con International in San Diego, Californiaand will be limited to 1,000 copies.

Series writer Jody Houser will appear at the CBLDF’s booth (#1918) for two signings during Comic-Con International 2016. The first, on Thursday, July 21st, will begin at 12:30 pm PT sharp; the second, on Saturday, July 23rd, will begin at 1 pm PT sharp.

Valiant Entertainment has been a supporter of CBLDF since 2012, and a Corporate Member of the Fund since 2013. This marks the third variant cover Valiant has created as a Comic-Con Internationalexclusive for the Fund.
