About Rick Swift

Rick Swift, editor of iratefilms.com has lived a diverse life. He's a kind of Nerd Renaissance Man. He grew up singing and playing the violin as much as he played baseball and soccer. He is a US Marine veteran, Sergeant, and can relate to most things pop-culture and loves movies. A child of the eighties, his favorite films ranged from Gremlins to Red Dawn. Getting to write movie reviews now, and sitting down to interview the likes of Emma Stone, Denis Leary, and Spider-Man himself, Andrew Garfield, has been a dream come true. Find him all over the web, but he's best found on Twitter: @IRATEFILMS Swift is a South Florida native and is still in the sunshine state. His favorite film is The Avengers.
