The return date of The X-Files has been revealed. Fox (the TV Network, not Special Agent Fox Mulder) have announced that the new season will premier on US TV on Sunday January 24 2016 with the next episode showing on Monday January 25.
The science fiction, horror and paranormal crossover drama ran for nine seasons between 1993 to 2002. The X-Files was a huge hit in the 90’s, with some classic scripts, underlying “will they or won’t they” sexual tension, mysterious government agents smoking in dark corners, an appearance in The Simpsons, a song and crop circles appearing across the south of England (this was never one of the plots but it suited the paranormal mood at the time). Also it is great for Cosplay because all you need is a suit. No plot details are available yet, but it is confirmed that original stars David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson and Mitch Pileggi will all feature.
