Kermit The Frog and the gang are back with a follow up to the 2011 hit film The Muppets with yet another hit in Muppets Most Wanted. Fans of the previous Muppet film will certainly enjoy this one.

After the ending of The Muppets (literally), The Muppets decide to make a sequel where they take on a world tour. They hire a manager named Dominic Badguy to handle all the bookings for the tour. But little do they know, Dominic Badguy is actually a bad guy who works for “The World’s Most Dangerous Frog” Constatine.

During the tour, the escaped convict Constatine sets up Kermit, thus allowing Constatine to pose as the patriarch of the unsuspecting Muppets while Kermit is hauled off to a Russian prison watched by the obsessive prison guard Nadya (Tina Fey). While the Muppets perform on stage, Constatine and Dominic break into museums to steal legendary treasures. The robberies catch the eyes of CIA agent Sam The Eagle and Interpol officer Jean Pierre Napoleon (Ty Burrell)…and The Muppets are their prime suspects!

The Muppets are ready for their next adventure.

The fun you expect from watching a Muppets movie is certainly there. The jokes are pretty much up to the caliber of the previous movie. The songs are nice, but most of them were not as amazing as Man Or A Muppet. Constatine’s I’ll Get You What You Want (Cockatoo In Malibu) is by far the best song in this movie.

When it comes to celebrity cameos, there are a lot of them. I won’t spoil who makes appearances, but there are so many of them that chances are you will find one of your favorite entertainers.

Muppets Most Wanted manages to avoid pitfalls that are known to plague sequels. It is definitely a must watch for any Muppet fan.
