Geek Start A Go Go: Miskatonic University
Miskatonic University is a cosmic horror short film written with a cliff-hanger. It introduces Professor Thomas Highland, a World War I veteran, who comes to the fictional town of Arkham, Massachusetts carrying with him a dark curse. Upon his arrival, his mysterious dreams and visions get the best of him, and we soon discover that not all is as it seems at Miskatonic.
The script is based on the writings of famed “weird fiction” author H.P. Lovecraft and though set in his worlds, the story is wholly original.
The intended purpose of the short-film is as a launching point for something bigger… a feature film or even a web or television series. We would like to submit our project to the New York Television Festival, as well as several other traditional film festivals.
