Viz Media announced exciting new publishing properties at Anime Boston this past weekend, as well as a sumptuous Death Note omnibus, and a new anthology of horror stories from Junji Ito, acclaimed author of Gyo and Tomie.
The Death Note all-in-one edition arrives as a 2400 page tome in a silver slipcase, and includes an epilogue that is new to English language readers. Junji Ito’s new book will be called Shiver: Junji Ito Selected Stories. Those looking for other hefty releases can add the art book Tokyo Ghoul Illustrations: Zakki and the hardcover novel Juni Taisen: Zodiac Warriors to their library as well.
Viz Media’s new manga acquisitions include Children of the Whales and SP Baby, and three Shonen Jump titles will get digital and print releases: The Promised Neverland, Naruto: Chibi Sasuke’s Sharingan Legend, and Astra Lost in Space.
