Attack on Titan Season 2 Trailer Footage Teases (SPOILER)

Kodansha Comics and Funimation have released the first official trailer for Attack on Titan Season 2, and the footage reveals a new, ape-like, titan, as well as a titan on titan war that presumes ideological differences in the giants.

Internet commentary assumes this is as simple as a “good and evil” polarization in the giants, although we should assume that, since season 2 only covers books nine through twelve of a manga that runs to twenty-one volumes, that the “good” giants also have their own political reality that isn’t so simple as “good.”.
