Artist Alley: Joel Micah Harris’ Superhero Manatees

Last week’s Artist Alley gender-swapped the best male superheros from Marvel and DC Comics as Hollywood’s most stunning female stars. This week’s continues the transformation theme, albeit in a bizarre, but humorous way. Instead of a sex change, heroes like Spider-Man and Wonder Woman have undergone a change in species. From the lovable mind of Joel Micah Harris comes Earth’s newest defenders: the superhero manatees. It’s defiantly an unusual premise, but not as far-fetched as one would think, given Marvel’s Pet Avengers and DC’s Farm League. And besides, if turtles can study the art of ninjutsu, than who’s to say sea cows can’t fight crime. Below are some of Harris’ finest manatee rendition of DC and Marvel superheroes.
