The non-stop action continues in Doctor Who: Supremacy of the Cybermen #2 in the latest edition from Titan Comics (see our review of #1 here). To recap, we have four doctors – the Twelfth Doctor (the Peter Capaldi version), the Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith), the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) and the Ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) – plus Captain Jack, Rose and Jackie Tyler, Cybermen, Silurians and Sontarans. There must be something there you like!
Without giving too much of the excellent plot away, the four doctors are all in different parts of space and time but are all noticing the same pattern – the Cybermen are taking over. Following on from #1, the Twelfth Doctor has seen Rassilon working with the Cybermen on Gallifrey. In London 2006, the Ninth Doctor is making a breakthrough of sorts to try to stop the spread. The Eleventh Doctor is trying to name a new enemy but none of the names sound right to him. The Tenth Doctor is forming a difficult alliance.
In the previous review, I said that this was shaping up to be a great story. After reading Supremacy of the Cybermen #2, I’d stand by that claim. With four doctors you know it is going to be a big story, and George Mann and Cavan Scott are delivering one. I’m looking forward to #3.
