Millar and Capullo are Reborn
The wait for one of the most anticipated titles of the year is almost over. Mark Millar and Greg Capullo are combining their considerable talents on Reborn, which is set to debut October 12.
Reborn is a sprawling fantasy/sci-fi epic that deals with a question many of us have no doubt asked: where do you go when you die? In Reborn, the answer isn’t heaven or hell: it’s a place where you have to fight to survive, a place where the people from your past, both the good and the bad, are waiting for you.
Issue one will feature three Capullo covers, including a sketch cover, a blank cover as well as covers by Jock, Frank Cho, John Cassady and an incentive cover by Todd McFarlane.

Fletcher, Stewart and Tarr reunite for Motor Crush
The New York Times bestselling creative team Brenden Fletcher, Cameron Stewart, and Babs Tarr (Batgirl of Burnside) reunite for Motor Crush, their first creator-owned series, this December.
Motor Crush stars Domino Swift, who spends her days competing for fame and fortune in a worldwide motorcycle racing league. By night, she battles rival gangs in brutal bike wars to gain possession of a rare, valuable contraband: an engine-boosting “machine narcotic” known as Crush.
“Something magic happens when Cameron, Babs and I make comics together,” said Fletcher. “We felt it when working on Batgirl and it’s there on every neon-soaked page of Motor Crush. We’re so fortunate to be able to continue this journey together as colleagues and friends. Motor Crush is the culmination of everything we’ve been working toward.”
Stewart added: “Motor Crush showcases our team at full throttle, working the way we want to produce a comic that’s unlike anything you’ve seen from us before!”
“Hold on tight,” warned Tarr. “It’s gonna be one wild ride!!”
ODY-C gets hardcover treatment in November
Matt Fraction and Christian Ward’s ongoing sci-fi epic ODY-C is being collected in an oversized hardcover edition.

The collection will feature exclusive bonus materials, including essays by classicist Dani Colman, teaching aids and a 10-page fold-out that previously appeared in issue one of the ongoing series.
ODY-C Volume 1 will hit comic store shelves November 23.
Kirkman to write and draw new series Frontier
It’s been close to a decade since Robert Kirkman both wrote and drew a comic series. With his new series Frontier, which debuts in November, Kirkman once again picks up the pencil to do double duty on a title.
The series is along the same vein as Star Trek. Issue #1 will embark on a vast, world-building story about utopia lost, and how humanity might just gain it back.
“I’m so excited about this book,” said Hickman. “It’s been a long time coming, and I’m so glad I’m a working cartoonist again. I really think people are going to get a kick out of both what Frontier looks like and where the story takes them. I can’t wait!”
Issue #1 will be a double-sized issue, and each subsequent issue in the series will contain galaxy-expanding bonus content like star maps, breakdowns of alien races, interstellar factions, and detailed spaceship schematics.
Look for Frontier November 16.
